This is driving me a little crazy. The little yellow things on the ground normally cover the nectar holes on this hummingbird feeder. I have three feeders around my yard. Every day something has pulled these things off and they are lying on the ground as shown. The feeder is about 3 feet off of the ground. Any ideas what might be doing this? Inquiring minds want to know.
If you find out I would like to know.
Do you have the same problem?
No I just find it amusing. I’ve seen raccoons do strange things. Do you have feeders higher that it doesn’t happen to.
Yes, the higher feeders aren’t touched but the one that gets messed with isn’t really lower on food. It’s like they are just messing with me. Guess I need the deer cam.
I would be looking for a squirrel.
We only have red squirrels here but it could very well be one. Or a raccoon. The things aren’t chewed so . . .
